Emergence features a periodic cicada emerging from its exuviae, or shell. This print commemorates the first time in 221 year that the 13-year Brood XIX will co-emerge with the 17-year Brood XIII. Early this summer, we will be inundated with these strange little creatures - I for one cannot wait to witness this natural phenomenon!

The flora & fauna series features the multitude of beings that call the Midwest their home. Each print features one hand-carved block and two layers of abstract color fields created using type-high wood blocks. All three layers are letterpress printed.

Available framed or unframed - frames are solid wood and made in the USA.
